In recognition of Juneteenth,
a significant day in our nation’s history which marks the emancipation of the
last remaining enslaved African-Americans in the U.S., Governor
Wolf has designated June 19, 2020 as a special holiday for state employees under
the Governor’s jurisdiction. In support of this proclamation, Chancellor
Greenstein has also designated the day as a holiday across the State System. Library operations will be closed June 19, 2020 in
observance of Juneteenth.
