E-ZBorrow Services are now available!


 

E-ZBorrow Services are now available!

 

Bloomsburg University faculty, staff, and students can again request books not available at Andruss Library via the E-ZBorrow system.

 

Access E-ZBorrow here:  https://library.bloomu.edu/ezborrow and sign on with your HuskyID to search and request books from participating libraries across PA, NJ, NY and WV. Books arrive in about 5-7 days and can be checked out for 12 weeks (no renewals).  You’ll be notified via email when your book arrives; please come to the Andruss Library circulation desk to pick it up.

Welcome to Andruss Library, Fall 2020!

The library faculty and staff of Andruss Library are dedicated to helping BU students succeed by ensuring an environment of research and study. To achieve this goal, we are closely monitoring government policy changes, Centers for Disease Control (CDC) guidelines, government mandates, University requirements, and public health advancements and will continue to make changes as necessary or appropriate to our protocols and procedures.

The Library building will open for the semester on Monday, Aug. 17, with updated hours:

  • Monday - Thursday - 7:30 am - 10 pm
  • Friday  - 7:30 am - 4:30 pm
  • Saturday - 12 noon - 5 pm
  • Sunday - 2 pm - 10 pm

Library Services and Resources: Fall 2020 Update

Andruss Express: Same-Day Pickup

 

Andruss Express Pick Up

  • This service is only available to BU Faculty, Staff, and Students not PA residents
  • Submit any physical book request by 8 am and have it by Noon that day
  • Submit any physical book request by Noon and have it by 4pm
    • Some exceptions will be made if book is missing/damaged
    • Weekend hours for this service will vary depending on staff availability, Please wait to receive email notification before coming to pick up an item
  • Items can be picked up Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pm
    • If requested items are not picked up after 7 days, the hold will expire and items will be reshelved 
  • You will be notified via email when your item is ready to be picked up.
  • Please go to the Circ desk on 1st floor when you are ready to pick up your items
    • You will be asked to present your BU ID so please have it ready
    • Items will already be checked out to you
  • When you are ready to return the items, please use the book drop 

How To Submit a Request

  1. Go to "BU Books & More" tab on Library's homepage and search for an item
  2. Once you find the item you want, use the "Sign In" option using your Husky ID/Password
  3. Once you've signed in and found your book, click "request"
  4. Fill out the pop up box (only the * starred fields needs to be filled out) and click "Request" again
