Darla Bressler, Education Librarian for 16 years, retiring in December
As you may know, our colleague Darla Bressler, Bloomsburg University’s Education Librarian who has been on leave this semester, is retiring effective December 5th, 2017. After more than 16 years working at Bloomsburg University, she will be greatly missed by all of us, both inside and outside the library.
To commemorate the occasion, the library is hosting a ‘card shower’ for Darla at her request, and she will greatly appreciate hearing from you. To participate, you may send a card with your good wishes addressed to Darla by Friday, Dec. 1st in care of: Lissa Clark, Administrative Assistant, Andruss Library. Soon after, we will deliver the cards to her.
If you wish to give a personal gift, Darla has requested that donations be made to her beloved Juvenile Collection, one of the library’s more popular collections of fiction and non-fiction books for children and young adults.
